As a special limited time offer while supplies last, you can order this basket in quantity and will receive baskets very similar to this one. Each basket will have unique differences due to the handcrafting but you will receive baskets that are natural grass with dark blue dashes on them similar to this picture.

Coming from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana, these baskets are traditionally used for carrying goods to and from the market. Weavers in the region use the abundant Veta vera grass to weave these incredibly hardy, useful baskets. The leather wrapped handle adds to the durability. Easily reshape your basket by quickly submerging in water (keep leather dry), reshape by hand and hang to dry.

Although we attempt to ship all baskets fully shaped, some baskets may need a bit of shaping when they arrive to you. Shipments outside of the continental US and via 2nd day air receive 'flattened' baskets.
